Main Street Software History
In October of 1983, LuAnn Darling began her career as an Independent Beauty Consultant. At Seminar 1992, LuAnn and her husband Erik looked for software to help manage her business. What she purchased did not perform as promised. So she and Erik, a software developer, designed Boulevard. In 1993, Main Street Software was born. When the first version of Boulevard software debuted, it was the first Windows® program for the Mary Kay® Industry. It as also the first program for this industry licensed by Microsoft® as a true Windows application.
Boulevard changed everything, not just for LuAnn, but for Beauty Consultants worldwide. In 1998, by popular demand, LuAnn began offering business management training sessions using this proprietary tool. Thousands of Beauty Consultants, Directors, and Nationals now profit from the beauty of Boulevard.
During these training sessions, LuAnn, with her many years as an active Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, teaches Consultants and Directors how to properly manage their Mary Kay careers: time, money, inventory, customers, and team/unit members. Current customers learn how to fully utilize the powerful tool they already own; Consultants and Directors who are not currently using Boulevard have the chance to see what it has to offer. We encourage anyone serious about their MK career to attend a session. Office assistants are also encouraged to attend.
In case you haven't guessed, LuAnn is devoted to helping her fellow Beauty Consultants benefit from her successful business model.
